When we gather, we do so with the intent of sharing common experiences and interests, and enhancing our worldview. Musical and artistic expression play a critical role in gathering, as do communication and education. The adaptive reuse of Pier 17 integrates all of these factors into a performance venue focused on community outreach, shared experiences, and a variety of ways to interact with the space.

The architecture acts as a landscape, gently and subtly guiding visitors into and throughout the building, creating a variety of options for inhabitation. Throughout the space, the ability to choose gathering locations and methods is key. The venue houses multiple stages and performance areas of varying sizes and functions, allowing all visitors a chance to share their talent or knowledge with others.
