I made boxes that approach the implications of form and void space in three dimensions. The first box is the characteristic "diamond" shape, while the second box has octogonal bases and features alternating inner and outer panels.

I studied specific elements of the second box before making two more models - one of wood and trace paper, and the other of steel - that represent the box in the process of being unfolded.
